Monday at Estabrook

I failed to mention yesterday that we cooked bacon, eggs, and pancakes on the wood-burning stove.  It is always fun to do that once a year, though it takes an hour or more by the time the fire is hot!  I think it was almost lunch time before we finished breakfast.  It is faster and easier in VANilla!

It was the last full day for my guests from Texas, so we made the most of it.  After a little fishing on Craig Creek, we packed a lunch and drove off our property for the first time since Friday to take a ten mile hike on the Brookside McCurdy Trail in Lost Creek Wilderness.
