Oh, Canada! My adventures in Canada were ones that I surely will remember. Canada’s diverse landscape allows for so many different experiences, whether you consider yourself adventurous or not! From majestic mountains, breathtaking parks, and incredible waters, the physical landscape is out of this world. But the food, history, and tourist attractions are phenomenal as well. There truly is just so much to do in Canada.

To begin, Banff National Park is incredibly breathtaking and is a must-visit during your time in Canada. If you are craving to walk along a trail, I suggest the Lake Agnes Trail. While the trail is moderate, it has beautiful pine trees that will line your walk. The lakes in this park are incredible, from Emerald Lake to Lake Louise’s stunning aqua waters. You too can see the ice-covered Lake Agnes. Banff National Park is a great choice if you are looking to see what the landscapes of Canada hold.

Another great place to take in the incredible sights of Canada is Tofino. While you are here, you can take in Hot Springs Cove and experience getting to see the crystal-clear water as it spills over the cliff toward the ocean. While you are in the springs, be sure to keep an eye out for marine life as you boulder hop to the shore. If you don’t want to take a dip in the water, you could also hike along Canso Bomber Trail, a 3.2-mile hike to the crash site of a WWII bomber. The wreckage is extremely well preserved, even though it is now covered in graffiti, but this historical site is an illuminating spot to see while you are in Tofino.

You can also stop by Ucluelet, a more quaint area of Canada located on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast, right near Tofino. You can stop by the Ucluelet catch-and-release Aquarium located along the glistening waterfront, or visit the delicious Ucluelet Brewing Company to take in a drink while taking in the magnificent view of the coast. If you are looking for some physical activity, you can find that in Ucluelet as well: take a hike along the Wild Pacific Trail, rent a bike and follow the trail to Tofino, hang 10 on the surplus of incredible beaches, or kayak in the beautiful waters. Don’t underestimate all there is to do in Ucluelet, as it has a little bit for everyone!

For those looking for a more urban destination, Victoria and Calgary are fantastic choices. In Victoria, stop by Beacon Hill Park, a park full of beautiful sights and magnificent history. When you exit the park, you will be spit out onto Victoria’s coastline: one of Canada’s many fantastic coastlines. Be sure to walk along Fisherman’s Wharf, a bright and bustling tourist attraction that is home to some delicious seafood. Shopping is abundant here, with its pedestrian-only shopping street being a popular destination. And of course, you’ll want to swing by Miniature World, an attraction that displays a little bit of everything! In Calgary, you can take a bike ride through Fish Creek Provincial Park, one of the largest urban parks in Canada. Take in history through the old ranch houses that are no longer in use, as well as the outdoor art gallery that has many sculptures and paintings. These two destinations blend urban life with the luscious landscape of Canada; you can’t go wrong with either of them.

This is just a small peak of what Canada has to offer. If this piqued your interest or you are planning a trip, check out the articles below to find more information!
