I had never been to the west coast of Mexico, only the east coast, and I never thought it would be that great as I like to SCUBA dive, and the water is much warmer in the Caribbean rather than the Pacific. Boy was I sorely mistaken! Suman and I took a trip to Nuevo Vallarta, and it was FANTASTIC…especially for only $471!!! Continue reading “Nuevo Vallarta…A Pleasant Surprise!”
Ya Mon…Negril, Jamaica!
Traveling to Jamaica
What a relaxing trip to Jamaica!
The travel started out a bit rough, having to arrive at the airport at 4:30am only to be helped by a grouchy Southwest Airlines ticket agent. Traveling to Dubai
We waved good-bye to the Maldives on our way to Dubai located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf in the United Arab Emirates. Unfortunately, Emirates moved our flight back one hour from the original booking and in addition it was delayed due to congestion at the Male airport, so we only ended up with about 36 hours to explore the fascinating city. Though limited in time, we certainly made the most of it.
EXPlORe!A Relaxing Day at Palau Pacific Resort
After a long day of travel with a layover in Oahu and a transfer through Guam, we finally made it to Palau at 9:30pm. We looked forward to a relaxing day at the Palau Pacific Resort in the morning. The resort is lovely, with nicely groomed grounds, a pool, and beautiful beach. It operates, at least partly, on solar as indicated by a posted sign registering the current output.

Staff from the resort picked us up at the airport and drove us 30 minutes east to the hotel grounds. A Koi pond with fire pots marked the lobby entrance.
